Our Call To Build On May
5, 2007 our District Superintendent, Dr. Randy Stearns, presided
at a Church Conference that overwhelmingly approved a Financial
Campaign in support of the Phase III of our building (see image
on left). Phase III is a new sanctuary, larger narthex, two
classrooms and additional restrooms. Mason United Methodist Church is a dynamic and growing congregation that continues to
need additional space as its membership grows. The church, originally located at the center of old Mason, presently is located on a six acre campus at the corner of Tylersville Road and Mason-Montgomery Road. Phase I (a multi-purpose facility) was built in 1987. Phase II (educational facility) was built in 1994.
It is our hope to break ground on the new expansion sometime in
2008.
